What does the PTA do?
The Oakhurst Elementary PTA supports our students, teachers, and school community through events, programs, family activities, teacher appreciation, and other school needs.

Who can join the PTA?
Anyone! Parents, guardians, grandparents, teachers, staff members, relatives, and community members are all welcome to join.

How much does PTA membership cost?
Membership is $11 per person for the school year.

Do I join the PTA each year?
Yes. PTA memberships are an annual membership, and we'd love if you joined each year!

Do I have to volunteer if I join?
Not at all! Joining the PTA does not require you to attend meetings or volunteer. Your membership alone helps support our school.

Does joining the PTA mean I have to attend meetings?
No. Members are always invited to attend, but meeting attendance is completely optional.

Where does the money from memberships and fundraisers go?
Funds raised by the PTA are used to support student programs, school events, teacher appreciation, campus improvements, and other needs that benefit the Oakhurst community.

How can I volunteer?
Volunteer opportunities are shared throughout the school year on our website, Facebook page, and other PTA communications. Whether you can help once or regularly, we appreciate every volunteer!

Can I help even if I don’t have much free time?
Absolutely! There are many ways to help, including donating supplies, supporting fundraisers, helping from home, or volunteering for a single event.

How do I order spirit gear?
Spirit gear can be pre-ordered through the Spirit Gear page on our website. Orders are submitted to our supplier periodically and delivered to your student at school once they arrive.

How can I stay informed about PTA events and updates?
Follow the Oakhurst Elementary PTA on Facebook, check our website, and watch for school and PTA communications.
